Today Is Round Robin Border #3 By Reeze!

Reeze of Morning Glory Designs has graciously designed us the next border for the Round Robin. How is everyone’s going? Check out a few from the Flickr Group. Remember that when you post a photo of your border you are entered into the drawing!!

~ A Bit About Reeze ~

She teaches quilt classes and workshops and regularly lectures at guilds. Her current list of lectures and workshops, along with a fee schedule is available here. Reeze is a member of the Heartland Quilt Network and is available to speak to guilds, small group, or shop classes throughout the Midwest.
Reeze also developed a series of wall hangings and throw quilts in both pieced and appliqued designs. She says “I have so many more patterns coming out that it is hard to keep up with the ideas in my head! Some problem, eh? :)”
What is Reeze up to now – She has the final block up for the Block Of The Month – Tulip Tiles

She also sells and teaches EQ7. Ok. I am a bit jealous of that!! I totally want lessons {first I need the program} hee hee.

[ Materials Needed For Border #2]
- Fabric: Coordinating fabric and optional scraps
- Tools: Rotary cutter, cutting mat, ruler, sewing machine
- Thread: Matching or contrasting
- Extras: Pins, iron, marking tools (optional)

Common Mistakes To Avoid On Border #3
- Mismatched Seams – Ensure your seams align by pinning at key points before sewing. Pressing seams properly also helps with accuracy.
- Uneven Measurements – Double-check measurements before cutting and sewing. Using a quilting ruler and rotary cutter ensures precision.
- Fabric Stretching – Avoid pulling or stretching fabric while sewing, especially on bias edges. Stay-stitching or starching fabric can help maintain shape.

This round robin is coming along so nicely Becky! Wish I had time to do it 🙁 I’m also busy packing to move, but I’m heading to another country 🙂 Maybe next year when I get settled… or I could stay up all night for the rest of the week and catch up, lol!

WOW!! I can’t believe I won again. I’m really excited about how this quilt is turning out. This is the first round robin project I’ve done. I hope more people will start posting their pictures, not that I don’t like winning, I just love looking at other people’s pictures to see their blocks. Thanks again. Can’t wait to get started on Round 3.
