Round Robin Border #6 Is Here! Designed By Beth!!

We are so lucky today to be joined by Beth! She is a wonderfully talented lady who has designed us Border #6 for the Patchwork Round Robin!! There are only a few more days left on this quilt, I love it so far, don’t you? It is turning out to be quite ‘whimsical’ as suggested. Now, before we start sewing lets take a look at who Beth is ~

Beth started sewing she says as a ‘measure of self defense’; she says “if my mom was busy teaching me about 5/8″ seams and casings for elastics, there was no way she could whip up yet another set of matching floor length gowns for my sister and I to wear while posing for photos at the local Sears photo studio. Fast forward 30 something years and now, thanks to Mom’s teachings, I get to do that to my three daughters.”
She discovered quilting on her own in 1995, when she was newly wed to a lovely man who entertained the twin mistresses of full time work and MBA studies, leaving her lots of empty time to fill. Several years and much more talent later, she started to design her own patterns, and in 2005 launched EvaPaige Quilt Designs.
She lives in a pretty town northwest of Boston MA where you don’t even need a clear day to see New Hampshire, where all five of them pretty much live their lives covered in thread scraps.

She dabbles in all sewing areas, which I love. Check out her doll towel wrap.

‘Sliced House’ love the technique…. maybe this year sometime I will give it a try. Anyone interested along with me?
