Materials Needed
- Kitten GO! die from AccuQuilt
- Go! Me AccuQuilt machine
- Fusible for applique
- Fabric pieces for each piece of the kitten
How to cut your kitten for applique
Step 1 – Prep your fabric by pressing it to a fusible. Here’s a quick how to use fusible for quilting.
Step 2 – Lay your prepped fabric pieces on top of the specific spots on the kitten die
Step 3 – Place the cutting mat on top and feed it into the AccuQuilt machine
Step 4 – Remove the cut pieces from the mats
Step 5 – Remove the paper off the back of the applique pieces. Continue until all the pieces have their paper off.
Step 6 – Put the kitten pieces on the quilt block. Move your pieces around until you are happy with the placement.
Step 7 – Use a hot iron to press to fuse. Don’t scoot the iron, lift it in between pressing. You don’t want to move the pieces.
Your block is finished and so cute!
Whether you are fusing it on a quilt block or fabric piece – the process is the same.
