Are you one to cut out a bunch of blocks and then not remember what size you cut, or what part of the quilt block you cut when you visit it again (maybe weeks later?!)
The markers set for quilt blocks will help you keep track of your block pieces, no matter when you get to sewing the block.
The printable Quilt Block Markers pdf file features:
* Capital letters alphabet
* Numbers 0-9 with extra 0’s
* Blank markers so you can fill in what you need
Download, print, cut and use as many times as you need!
Print on regular paper or cardstock (they will last longer)
I don’t know about you, but there are times when all of my cut pieces for the quilt blocks are all mixed up – and I spend a lot of time re-measuring the pieces to see what piece is what.
Such a waste and a total pain!
I have seen markers for crochet and knitting – to keep your place and thought something similar for quilt blocks would be great.
But, I wanted it to be reusable. And something I could customize.
So here is where the quilt block markers comes in.
They are a pdf file (you can see what’s included) that you can save, print, cut and reuse.
When they get to pocked with holes, you can print a new set. You also have the option of printing them on cardstock to let them last even longer.
I also wanted them to be flexible with patterns as well – so depending if the designer refers to the alphabet or numbers.
You could use the number sets for things like trip around the world patterns where you are making the strips into numbered sets that need to be sewn together in a specific order. Double useful!
