Hi everyone— I am thinking that i am a week late. not sure where my calendar went. Thought it was to be posted today….um. nope last week. Sheesh! It just gave us some extra time to stitch up the last few rows though. Right? lol In defense of Peggy– i have had the pattern for this Summer quilt row the whole time! It was me who didn’t have it posted on time. Spank me 3 times. So sorry!
Here is a bit about Peggy:
I taught Vocational Home Economics for 11 years in Ohio then moved to Kentucky. I owned a Quilt Shop for 18 years where I taught beginners as well as more advanced quilting classes. I have also taught at quilt shows and retreats. I usually design my own patterns for classes and am about to publish and sell my designs.
Peggy has designed Row #8 for the Round Robin and it is a great one! It is full of yummy pies. We are still running with the checker theme too. That’s what picnics are all about— lounging on that picnic blanket. of course it being checkered.

I can’t wait to give this one a try! looks like a bit of work–but really would add a bunch of fun to the quilt, don’t you think?
