The Ladder Stitch is a wonderful stitch. It is the best thing to use when you are closing up a pillow, doll, plushie or whatever else that you don’t want the opening to be obvious.
The idea of the embroidery stitch is that when you are all done- the stitches disappear. They are kind of tucked inside the fabric and not visible.
It’s a great way to give your items a nice finished look.
