Quilt alongs are the best thing for quilters. They are usually a weekly or monthly sew along which guides you through building the quilt. So, by the end of the whole quilt along you will have a finished quilt!
There are quilt alongs for projects, mini quilts, temperature quilts, block of the months, technique based, ruler or notion based… you name it – it can become a quilt along.
Along with the pdfs, videos and whatever else included – a community is usually part of it.
Here are the Quilt Alongs for Patchwork Posse, and you are welcome to join in on the fun!

Temperature Quilt Along
Have you been wanting to make a Temperature quilt? Here’s a fun temperature quilt pattern that will take in the daily temperatures in a block that you will sew up weekly.
Temperature quilts are beautiful, colorful, fun-to-make fabric mementos of the new year to come. Read on for ideas and tips on how to make a temperature quilt for yourself!
I have been tossing the idea around for quite a few years… but haven’t dove in, until now.
After looking I didn’t find a pattern that I truly liked either – so in Becky fashion I came up with my own. It’s based on the Rocky Road to Kansas quilt block.

Road Trip Block of the Month
This year Patchworkers Plus is going on a road trip… beginning with the block of the month and adding in learning new techniques from around the world.
This years BOM features 6 quilt blocks. They are 12 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ unfinished – and are sewable for any level of quilter.
There are flying geese, half square triangles and half rectangles included in the pattern.
Simple patchwork and straight stitching, nothing too complicated.
You’ll notice that there are TWO layouts mentioned in the materials list. Each block will showcase the two color ways as well to help keep you on track.
You can choose a light background or a dark background. Can’t wait to see what fabrics you choose and your quilts come to life.
The fabric I used is from Andover Fabrics – the Chrysanthemum by Alison Glass found here.
This quilt along is available for members of Patchworkers Plus (my online quilt group) Join here.

Walkabout Quilt Along
I am very excited to share something that has been brewing in the background for a bit.
After looking at my goals for the 2023 year… one that always tends to show up is health. Of course. Like many quilters, movement pretty much includes walking to the sewing machine, walking to the cutting mat, walking to the ironing station.
Well, it’s time to maybe do a little bit of intentional walking somewhere other than our ‘go to’ route.
