How to Calculate Your Yardage for Binding

I show you in the video how you can quickly and easily put into the app your binding, the size of your quilt and it will tell you how much fabric you need for your yardage!

It’s such a time saver. Seriously.

If you decide to cut your binding a little wider (say 2.5 inches instead of 2.24) then you can easily hit that calculate button again and it will rework the whole thing. LOVE IT!!

Plus, when you save it as a favorite- you are able to save it with a name that you understand. yay!

I can name it the quilt that I need binding for – so when I am shopping I can quickly find the name of the quilt and right there it will tell me how many yards I need for the binding as well as the backing – if I’ve put the info in for that too.
