Learn about the TrueSharp 2 Power Rotary Blade Sharpener and how it can help you keep your blades cutting cleanly and smoothly—without needing to replace them every time they start to dull.

I’ll walk you through how it works in the video, but here’s a quick overview of what to expect and some tips for getting the best results.

It uses a motorized system with diamond-grit stones to grind and polish both sides of the blade evenly. The process takes only a minute or two, and when done properly, can add a lot of life back to your cutting tools.
It’s especially handy if you go through blades quickly or cut fabric often for quilting, sewing projects, or pattern prep.
How to Sharpen Your Rotary Cutter Blades

1- Put a drop of oil on the bottom sharpening stone

2- Put a drop of oil on the top sharpening stone

3- Place the blade in the center of the unit using the tongs, it will nestle in a circle area- holding the blade in place

4- Close the lid, hold it closed and press the button to start. Count 15 seconds

5- Open the lid

6- Flip the blade using the tongs to do the other side. Repeat by closing the lid and counting to 15 again.
Wipe the blade with the cloth it comes with to clean up the oil and the little bits that come off of the blade when it’s sharpened.
Repeat 2-5 times depending on how much the blade is dull.
It won’t take out nicks in the blade – which really stinks, but it does sharpen the edge!
