Hello and welcome! Today is the The Round Robin Edition 27 – Summer Pillow Tutorials. You are going to love these summer pillow tutorials!
happy monday.
in the sewing room
I’ve been working on a few postcards swaps (not seen above- this was another swap from a while ago)…. I do love a good, fun swap!
This time I have a few postcards to sew up. If you haven’t ever made a postcard…here’s a quick tutorial.
They are fun to use leftover quilt blocks, or some fun buttons or whatever! Great for a quick boost of creativity. Just what I needed!
I’ll be sharing my postcards after they have arrived to their new owner!

today’s topic summer pillows!
Awe man, I do love myself a pillow. They are the easiest and quickest way to change up a room.
You don’t have to spend a ton of time sewing, they don’t require a mongo amount of expensive fabric and they can be customized to whatever style you have in your home.
Perfect!
I’m in love with the strawberry pillow (you’ll have to click on over to find out what I’m talking about!)
Time to ad some color, new style, design and whatever in your favorite lounging spot.
sew it
This is the cutest pillow and so easy to do + it uses up your pile of scrap fabric and ribbon {who doesn’t have any of those?}
This pillow uses strips of scrap fabric, lace, ric racwhatever you have laying around or tucked away. Don’t be afraid to try a few new combinations and different widths of the fabric strips too.
Pick any color for the background as well as the scraps you are using to make it more ‘themed’.
Materials needed:
* scrap fabric strips any width, they should be the same length as the pillow you are makind
* ribbons, ric rac, lace or any other embellishment you would like to use.
* back ground fabric {cut to the size of the pillow}

I think the link to the strawberry pillow pattern is wrong. It takes me to Purl Soho – a knitting site (which could ALSO be dangerous to my wallet!).
