Welcome to The Round Robin Edition 25 – Teaching Kids To Sew.
happy monday.
in the sewing room
I’ve been working on a fun new project, with a new partner too! Things are finishing up and we are prepping to launch it all soon…so watch for it!
It has something to do with the quilt design program: Quilt-Pro. You’ll be the first to know when it all happens and how it will help you – even if you aren’t a professional quilt designer. Soo excited.
In between that and life, I’m just trying to get a handle on my projects going and get some progress on some that have been wayyyy too long in the process! It’s time to get those done and move on!

today’s topic teaching kids to sew
The summer is really a great time to grab your kids or grandkids and sew up a project. These projects are pretty simple, easy to follow and you’ll be able to finish them in an afternoon.
This is a great way for you to use up some of that fabric you were saving for something ‘fun’ and never did anything with.
Who do you like to teach sewing to?
sew it
If you are headed anywhere this summer or any time of year, a great little travel pillow is a must have. The shape is perfect for biggerish kids who can position it just right. It’s not super huge so it won’t hog up the whole backseat of the car and cause a ‘you’re touching me war’.
The shape is a simple kidney bean shape if you need it a little larger (for yourself) you could enlarge the template when printing.
something fun
