Taking pages from an older, tarnished book – you can make simple and cute stars. Folding the paper, like origami, you are able to make as many folded paper stars as you’d like.
Materials Needed:
book that you are ok with pulling pages out of
glue stick
hole punch

Instructions:
1- tear our 5 pages from your book
2- Fold one corner over to line up the other other edge, this will give you a square
3- Cut the extra edge off to make a square piece of paper
4- Fold in half diagonally once, crease
5- Rotate and fold in half diagonally again, crease
6- Turn the paper over so the folds are on the bottom now
7- Fold in half to make a rectangle, crease
8- Rotate and fold in half diagonally again, crease
9- Pinch the edges and bring to the center, making a square
10- With the open paper at the top, fold one corner in and line up in the center, crease
11- Repeat with other side, crease
12- Turn over and repeat steps 10 and 11 so both sides are the same
13- Open up just a little bit and push the point to the inside so the edges are inside the star
14- Repeat with all 4 folds on the star
– Repeat for a total of 4 or 5 star pieces
15- Glue one side on the edges and down the center
16- Lay the next piece on top, lining up the edges
17- Repeat until they are all glued together
18- Glue the last piece and line up the first making a star, pressing well so the glue holds
19- Use a hole punch and make a hole at the top of one of the inner points
20- Add a string, paper clip, Christmas hanger, ribbon
