I am sooo so excited to share my quilt blocks from the Round Robin- Around the Block.
To be honest, I had fallen behind on the blocks, and it took some time…..but they are all done and I couldn’t be happier.
The variety of quilt blocks, the fabric {Alison Glass / Andover}. Everything came into place and they all run right along together grandly.

I am not the perfect patchwork piecer….I kind of tend to sew a little loosely and go with the flow, so yes. There might be some missed intersections, points just a bit dull, but overall all the blocks were totally a delight to sew.
There isn’t a favorite quilt block in here. I really love how each one is different from the other and there is a good mix between them all. For not really putting our heads together and planning this out, the blocks are wonderful together!
Take a look at all my blocks here:
Now comes the fun part….the layout. I will be auditioning some layouts….on point, sashing, big borders, skinny stop borders….we’ll give a few a try and next week we will sew them all together. {unless you find your own combination}
Until then, head on over to the place where you can find all of the quilt blocks for the Round Robin posted- with links! Sew them up, post them in the Gallery…..and we’ll see you next week for putting them together! I can’t wait to start playing!
