Even with a scrappy feel, you can control your scraps – like my center lemoyne star block… see the repeating fabrics? So never feel on it being too busy.

Plus- the piano key borders are the perfect spot to sneak in some wild and crazy fabrics that are sitting in your stash waiting for this very moment to be cut up and used.
