Star Wars Quilt Patterns:

“Can you make a Darth Vader Quilt?” His request was simple, I can totally do that, they even make Darth Vader fabric. I could have sewn a few cut squares together with Darth Vader print and called it a day. But you know what? Sewing is much more magical than that, and quilting is like drawing with fabric. So I decided to design Darth Vader on to a quilt.
Star Wars Paper Pieced Quilt Blocks

With a variety of patterns – you can pick from Yoda, the Millenium Falcon, and even Darth Vader.
Death Star Pattern

The final pattern will make an 11×12″ block. The perimeter fabric can easily be made larger by extending the paper pattern. The Death Star itself could be made bigger by bringing the pdf printouts to a copy store and enlarging them.

DIY Star Wars Pillows – Felt Applique

The pillows were plain red couch pillows that were super comfy but pretty boring. These new Star Wars pillows are much more fun and playful, which is perfect for this bright and colorful space!
Boba Fett plushie pillow

It’s a little Boba Fett plushie pillow! It’s made of felt (you can spring for the fancy wool stuff for a nicer pillow, but if you’re like me a few $0.25 sheets from Hobby Lobby do the trick) and it’s actually really fast and easy to make. I did the whole thing in under two hours.
Star Wars pillow cases

Basically you iron your shirt/pillowcase whatever, print out your design on freezer paper , cut out with an exacto knife, iron the pattern on shiny side down with the DRY setting of your iron, paint with fabric paint (with cardboard under the fabric), lift off freezer paper when dry, heat set with the iron, and there you go!
Bantha Doll free pattern

Then last year we had a runaway sleeper holiday hit by making the very adorable Stuffed Bantha as age appropriate stocking stuffies for the two young men in my family.
Felt Rogue One Stormtrooper doll

The idea behind this was obviously to make a version of the Rogue One doll. But it also works as a way to make just a Stormtrooper. Of course there are several variations, each with different specific names, but you could adapt the pattern for a better match on those.
Rainbow At-At Pillow

Sometimes, life gets you down. Sometimes, things don’t go your way. Sometimes, you just say “I should make a Rainbow AT-AT Walker” and all becomes clear. My son has been asking for Star Wars themed decorations around their room and since he shares a room with his sister I wanted to add some color beyond the grey/black AT-AT Walker color scheme. Ok.. well also, I am midly majorly rainbow obsessed, so I just had to sneak it in.
30-Minute Star Wars Snuggle Blanket Tutorial

The directions I am providing are for a blanket sized 41×41, but I have used these same steps to create a larger 40×60 many times as well.
maz kanata star wars plush

The Maz plush is quite small. She nearly fits in the palm of my hand! There’s no need to make yours this small; you can enlarge the pieces. The size of mine was guided by the Chewie doll, because I wanted them to look similar to the height proportion in the film.
Star Wars “tsum tsum” quilt || Free Template

I made templates for the 13 tsum tsum guys I made. The tsum tsums are all appliqués really so you could do whatever you wanted with them, but since we are heading into winter I thought my kids would enjoy lap quilts to cuddle up with.
