Today the 3rd row for the Round Robin has been designed by Robin of Robin Quilts. She has designed a few other round robins for us and I have loved her input and designs. She uses quick methods which are 'easy on the brain' as I say.
This row features one of my favorite techniques– cranky style! yay!! It's an easy way to piece and sooo forgiving. It can be a little crazy, but once you allow yourself to loosen up just a little bit I am sure that you will love this method of piecing. Along with the cranky style, she has used the stack and wack technique, which she has used in a few of her quilt patterns.
Layering the fabric and cutting does take a lot of stress out of– did i make the right cut? What it doesn't fit? cut again? wasted fabric? See where I am going…… this will always work! Also– because this isn't a traditional style of 9 patch, there is no background fabric used. 100% scrappy. Scrappy happy.

A little bit about Robin:
For those that don't know me, I LUV to quilt. I enjoy the entire process. I design, write and publish my own patterns.

Photo Gallery~So we can all keep track of what we have sewn, there is a Flickr Photo Gallery set up for the Round Robin. This is a great place to post photos of your progress– from fabric choice to final finish. We want to see it all! {this truly is the only way we can share since we don't live by each other- think of it as our spot for show and tell} I check it often and comment, so please share!

You can click on the link that says download or when the pic just zoom you can right click on them and choose save. either should work.
Thank-you Whosies – I see the Download button now.

I love that! Everyone should have that reminder tacked on the wall. Love the crazy pieced row, but I’d be so tempted to stitch all over it!
