How did you get your start in sewing?
Quilting and sewing is a tradition in my family, going back 5 generations! I helped tie my first quilt at age 8, and learned to sew from my mother, and in the 4-H program. The sewing room was the gathering place.
What interests do you pursue when you’re not quilting?
Singing, cooking, baking, reading, traveling.
Give us a quirky fact about yourself
I’m a mother of triplet daughters!

Have anything fun coming up or just happening that you’d like to share?
My book is now on its FOURTH printing, and still doing well!
Tell us about the project your currently working on

What are your favorite parts of quilting?
All of it – dreaming, designing, making, quilting, binding, giving…and teaching quilting!
Where do you find inspiration?
Everywhere! Family, Guilds, online groups, quilt shows, and a lot of times, the fabric itself inspires me.
