Round Robin Winter Wonderland by ~
Melissa’s row is pieced- and not ony pieced, but she has a quick method for us to use making this quilt block and row a fun one….and quick to sew. It kind of reminds me of snowflakes– does it you too? I love that it’s the same block, but because of placement of the half square triangles, it looks totally different! There are 3 quilt blocks from each layout- and you will need around 1/4 yard of fabric from a light, dark and background.
A little bit about Melissa
By Day I am a wife and stay-at-home Mom of 5 little kiddos. By Night (and nap time) I am a quilting devotee. Before moving across the country that first time I asked my mother to teach me to quilt.
I figured I was about to have some lonely evenings on my hands and needed some hobbies.
I began slowly and enjoyed being able to create adorable baby blankets for friends.
What’s Melissa been up to lately?
She has been published in quite a few Quilt Magazines- including her latest in the 100 Block Special!

Thanks Melissa for sharing your wonderful pattern for the row.
Please hop on over and take a look at what else is going on with Melissa- and say ‘hi’

Photo Gallery~So we can all keep track of what we have sewn, there is a Flickr Photo Gallery set up for the Round Robin. This is a great place to post photos of your progress from fabric choice to final finish. We want to see it all! {this truly is the only way we can share since we don’t live by each other- think of it as our spot for show and tell} I check it often and comment, so please share!
