While at Quilt Market or Quilt Festival, you must check out the beautiful quilt show.
This is the perfect place to hide and give your mind some rest from all the booths on the floor and noise. It’s so quite and beautiful in this place. It’s really quite wonderful and one of my favorite things.
Here’s a look at a few of my favorites – and quilts that caught my eye.
I love finding new inspiration for Gee’s Bend style quilts. Every year I go on a quilt retreat in Mississippi, and I bring along a photo gallery of inspiration for my sewing days.

This was seriously crazy to see- all those hardanger style embroidery and the border. WOW. My mind was blown and it was stunning in person!
There was a special display for red and white quilts…. one of my favorites!
There was also the special exhibit and challenge quilts.
This quilt is just as long as you think it is. It was stunning to say the least.
There were also some Hawaiian Applique quilts – which is one of our techniques we are learning in Patchworkers Plus. We have special guests joining us and teaching in mini workshops- as well as projects / quilts to give ourselves a try at what we’ve learned. You can join Patchworkers Plus here.
