Are you ready to find out what the quilt along for next year and the Patchwork Planner is going to be?!
It’s not a super secret as I’ve been sharing a little bit here and there.
Here’s a quick look at the full quilt before it headed off to Quilt Market in the Island Batik booth for Tammy (it’s her new fabric line!)
I’m excited to tell you just a little bit more about it, and hope you will be joining me during the year!
The Blooming Baskets Quilt Along – 2020 Patchwork Planner
Complete quilt layout- includes all the outer borders and will be a full year of sewing. Each month you’ll be sewing a section of the quilt- more like a collection of quilt blocks.
Some months will have more sewing than others- but there are quick piecing methods and shortcuts that will help it go by quick!
Dates: January – December 2020
For those of you who belong to the IAQ and purchased the Planner, I’ll be adding a few new things in there as well!
I get quite a bit of emails that ask if there is anything else happening with the planner– like, Is it included in the IAQ? Is there somewhere we can share the planner and get help on using it? I want more than just the planner!
Today, I’m sharing a little behind the doors secret that I’ve been working on.
Next year in the IAQ, there will be a new addition to the group where each month we focus on a page in the 2020 Patchwork Planner.
AND
During the year there will be member lead show and tell, ideas, inspiration, tutorials and how it’s used live meet ups!
I’m super excited about the member lead addition!! Our members are full of inspiration, talent and are ready to share what’s working for them with others.
PLUS, there will be a discussion forum, gallery and tips & hints each month for the Blooming Baskets Quilt Along!!
So, what does that mean for you?! Well,
1– if you need to grab a spiral bound copy of the planner, purchase it right here during pre-orders….pre-orders are almost over!
2– if you already have the planner, but would LOVE the community and focus each month and quilt along extras, join the IAQ here.
As we get closer to the end of the year, I’ll be sharing a bit more about the members who are joining our Stitchers Team for the IAQ as well as everything else coming in 2020! Lots of fun NEW things as well as some updates in the community!

Do you have to order a kit for the sew along?
no- there is no kit available for it. You’ll provide the supplies yourself. The pattern is included in the 2020 Patchwork Planner, that is the only thing required to sew along. If you would like more community help and tips, hints- you can join the online quilt group: iaquilters.com
when do we receive our planners?
I purchased the planner, bought all materials and just started the February block, “Odd Fellows Chain”. Is tgere an error in the cutting and sewing instructions for the half square triangles? It calls for 1 4 3/4 square from the background and dark purple, instructions show creating 2 hst, but the next step requires 8 hsts.
