That is what i have been doing! Trying to finish it up for release this week.
It has been fun working with wool felt- it has been awhile. + I had big triangles in the corners that were screaming for something to be added.
The flowers are a bit 'folksy-ish' and who doesn't put a basket in there to hold the all?
I decided to use some thicker thread {3 strands of DMC instead of the usual 2} makes them more noticeable. love that. I didn't button hole either. Used a simple whipstitch and a running stitch down the center of the leaves…. so the edges are kind of loose like. I did use a stem stitch on the stems too- not sure i am in love with that stitch yet.
Are you working on any wool applique lately? Have any hints? I used my squeeze glue to get them all to stay in place. Gosh, i love that stuff.
