This has been a little bit in the making…. checking with our guests, getting the schedule nailed down, putting the final pieces together.
And, I believe we are to the point where we can start inviting you to join us!It’s already on the calendar and the IAQ members know about this, but it’s time to start letting YOU know about it.
This past year has been a little bit of a ring around. For me there were big changes – moved 5 hours away from family, tiny home, not a lot of sewing space, not a lot of sewing (gasp) and other little changes that have added to bigger ones.
Not sure if you can relate to that, and I hope that your 2021 was still a good one even if there were some changes and possibly challenges.
We are looking at the year now 2022– which somehow snuck quickly upon us… and put together something that I think will help you kick off this year.
That’s what we are calling this week long community activity inside the IAQ.We’ll be taking the last week of January the 25th- 28th to explore organizing our space, chatting about the basics- batting, thread, needles. Included in this are 3 guests joining us (with recordings so you can watch anytime) and an evening of show & tell.
Our guests include: Sherri from a quilting life, the Warm Company and Carrie from it’s a Zizza.
They couldn’t be more perfect for the beginning of the year kick off. Each will be taking a topic and giving us their best tips, tricks and steps to get us prepped for sewing, organizing, thread and needle info and batting options.Building our knowledge little by little, we become better quilters.
What better way to do this than with other quilters!
This Fresh Start week will give you the simple steps to pick up your sewing space and get excited about what the 2022 year is going to be for quilting!
I for one have been putting off some projects, so I will be right there with you picking up everything I can to get me inspired to hit my quilt goals.
