You’ll find this weekly email on Mondays and it will include what I’ve been sewing on recently, a few tips I’ve picked up and some fun products to make quilting easier.

In thinking about the coming year and what has happened this past year and emails and what I would like to share or have shared…. I’ve come to realize something.

I’ve missed sharing projects in mid-sew, completed projects that don’t make it to the blog, and fun activities that I’ve participated in – like challenges or donations or whatever!

My personal sewing outside of the blog has been in the shadows and I have missed sharing them!

This year, the Round Robin will keep you up to date on a few fun things I’m working on as well as new tips or products that have helped me sew a little faster.

in the sewing room….

I’ve been sewing quite a bit lately, trying to keep ahead on the large Sampler of 2018 starting this next month (join here if you’d like to sew along), plus a few other projects that will be coming as well– watch your email for the news!

This tree is the center of the whole quilt. The beginning of the madness, surrounded by quilt block after quilt block. It’s been fun to see this one come along and the progress I’ve been making on the blocks. Not as quick as I’d like. I really wanted it done before starting, but also not trying to burn myself out either. This sampler is mega and I’m really excited to see how others interpret the blocks in their own styles and fabrics.

While I don’t have a specific ‘tip’ here, I thought I would share the calendar for 2018.

This is it. The year of finishes is coming, and to help you with this– the calendar.

It’s the full 2018 year laid out in a spiral bound book. Over 50 pages that are thicker, and laminated covers. It will last the year and you can cover it from front to back with projects, tracking, notes, ideas, finishes and more!

This is not a life planner, but a project planner. Whether it’s an old project you’d like to finish, a quilt along or a new project you are planning out step by step -this calendar and planner is ready to be filled in.

something fun…

Today’s product is going to be the International Association of Quilters or the IAQ. It’s open right now (only open 3 times per year!) and I can go on and on about how awesome the designers are and the projects (one being the Sampler of 2018)

You’ll love the community, and the projects + the designers are the cherry on top.
