I’m Featured in This Issue
I’m so excited to share that I have an article in the January/February 2026 issue of Quilt Pattern Magazine!
My article, Stitching My Way Out of Overwhelm, is all about something I know a lot of quilters can relate to—having big sewing plans, the best intentions… and then feeling buried under projects, notes, and half-written to-do lists by February.
Inside the article, I share the story behind why I created the Patchwork Planner in the first place. It started as a simple need: a place just for my quilting life. Somewhere to track block of the month steps, retreats, sew days, ideas, and those tiny but important tasks that actually move projects forward. Not fancy. Not complicated. Just clear, calm, and doable.
I also walk through how using a monthly rhythm helped me get out of that overwhelmed feeling and back to enjoying my sewing time—one project, one list, one month at a time. And I share a few easy “quick wins” any quilter can try right away, planner or not, to regain clarity and momentum.
Being part of this issue is such an honor, and I love that this magazine continues to focus on real quilting life—projects, progress, and finding joy at the sewing machine. If you grab this issue, I hope my article feels like a friendly nudge that you’re not behind, you’re not doing it wrong, and you don’t have to figure it all out at once.
Just start where you are.
