Giving you something to listen to while sewing.
Are you a listener or a watcher….or are you a loner?
I’m kind of the loner type. I don’t watch anything while sewing, but do listen. Occasionally.
After signing up for a spot on Abby’s podcast for the quilt group — I was hooked. I’m a chatter and this fit right into place. Kind of fun!
After starting my own little podcast with the guest designers (more are coming!) I thought that maybe you don’t know that there are others out there that do podcasts…or maybe you don’t even know what a podcast is!
Today, let’s dive into – what is a podcast and what kind of craft and diy podcasts are there out there for you to listen too.
What is a podcast?
a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or portable media player, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.
If you have a phone….or computer you can access any of these. You don’t need a specific phone or carrier, but there are some additional apps that make it a little easier that you might want to load up. (if you have no idea what I’m talking about grab someone a little younger than you and have them do it for you)

I think my favorite part of it– there is always something to say! Whether it’s a new notion, store, fabric line…whatever there is always something to talk about when it comes to DIY, Crafts, Quilting and Sewing.
We are all usually good company as well– I’m sure there will be a few in there that you will form your own relationship with…even if it’s just online.
Do you have a podcast you listen to? Or do you do something else while sewing? Let us know who it is or where to find it so we can of course add it to our personal list.
