I’ve seen these fun pineapple quilt block tutorials around for a bit and have saved them for a rainy day or project….and I thought that instead of keeping them to myself, I would share them today!
There are quite a few options when it comes to sewing a pineapple quilt block – full squares, half square triangles, long green tops, funky colors…you name it!
Depending on your style and what you are going for will determine how your pineapple quilt block turns out.
The Pineapple Quilt Blocks I am referring to today – is not the one you are probably thinking of. These are actual pineapples- not the block that’s similar to the log cabin.
Materials:
Fabric- pick it up at Connecting threads or Fat Quarter Shop
Supplies you may need:
- Rotary cutter or a new sharp blade
- Cutting Mat
- Quilt Ruler
- Sewing Machine this brother is my favorite!
- Iron here or here
- Thread
- Bobbins
- Scissors
- Seam Ripper not my favorite thing to do!
