Why I Started Patchwork Posse

I started Patchwork Posse over 16 years ago to document my quilting journey while raising four kids. Time was tight, but I needed a creative outlet—and a way to stay connected with quilting.

After moving several times and struggling to keep up with local quilt groups, I realized I wasn’t alone. Life doesn’t always fit around in-person meetups. That’s why I built an online quilt community that does.

Patchworkers Plus is your go-to quilting group—no travel, no missing meetings, no sewing alone. From BOMs and swaps to workshops and replays, you’ll find friendship, inspiration, and the support to finish what you start, no matter where you are or what your schedule looks like.

Becky Jorgensen

Becky Jorgensen is the creative quilter behind Patchwork Posse, the Patchwork Planner and her online quilt group Patchworkers Plus. You can find her patterns in books, magazines, and her quilt membership.  Gather your quilting supplies, organize your sewing space, explore the process of disappearing quilt blocks, or finish a free quilt pattern. I'll help you use what you have, finish what you start and make your quilting journey fun!
