Where better to enjoy a quilt retreat than in your own sewing room, surrounded by your favorite fabrics, tools, snacks, and sewing machine?
This is one of my favorite weekends of the year because we all get to slow down before the holiday rush begins.
We’ll kick things off Thursday evening with a relaxed Meet & Greet. Bring your favorite drink, introduce yourself, and meet quilters from around the world before we start sewing.
Then, throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we’ll have live sewing sessions where you can pop in, sew alongside everyone else, ask questions, share progress, or simply enjoy the company while you stitch.
We’ll sprinkle in games, prizes, and plenty of laughs along the way because every retreat deserves a little extra fun.
And on Sunday evening, we’ll wrap up with Show & Tell, celebrating everything you accomplished over the weekend.
No matter how much sewing you finish, you’ll leave inspired, encouraged, and probably already looking forward to next year’s retreat.
Meet the Merry & Bright Quilt
This year’s exclusive retreat project is Merry & Bright.
Designed using a layer cake, this quilt comes together with simple piecing that lets your fabrics do the work. The finished quilt measures 50″ x 60″, making it the perfect throw for decorating your home or giving as a handmade gift during the holiday season.
Use classic Christmas prints, winter fabrics, or pull a favorite layer cake from your stash. Every quilt will be unique, and that’s one of the best parts of sewing together.
Even better, you’ll never be sewing alone.
Everyone at Quilt-Away will be making the same project together.
