Plan Your Handmade Gifts Before You Start Sewing
Every year I have grand plans for handmade gifts. A quilt for this person, a little zipper pouch for that one, maybe a table runner or two.
And then I remember that handmade gifts actually require time to make. Imagine that!
That’s why I love having a place to get all those ideas out of my head and onto paper.
The Gift Project Brainstorm printable gives you a starting point for planning what you’d like to sew, whether it’s for Christmas, birthdays, special occasions, or just because.
No need to make everything on your list. Sometimes getting those ideas written down is enough to figure out which projects are actually going to happen.
How to Use the Gift Project Brainstorm Printable
Start by thinking about the people you’d like to make something for. Jot down your gift ideas, consider what fabric and supplies you already have, and decide which projects you’d like to tackle first.
Keep the printable with your quilting planner or project notes so you can come back to it when you’re ready to sew.
And remember, not every gift needs to be a full-size quilt. Small handmade projects count, too!
