My Winter Take Along Project

Tis the season for Basketball!  With two boys loving the sport the schedule is getting filled with practices and games.  What does that mean for me?  A take a long project!

Something small and simple {could do it with my eyes closed….well almost}.  It fits in a little bag and off I go!

For this month my take a long is a few hexagons.  They are small, easy to sew, don’t take a lot of brain power.  I can whip a few together in no time all the while sitting and cheering those kids on from the side lines.

I am one of those moms that loves, loves to go to the kids games.  It gets me away from the house, makes me talk to others and my mind is removed from the world of online. {because I love it here!}  Plus, I think my kids like it when I am there too.

So far, they haven’t complained about me hauling around my little projects and working on them in front of them….. maybe when they get older they will start rolling their eyes.  Until then, I will stitch on!

This little project will be coming up soon….it’s next in line to the little quilt series.  You can find a few others here.

See the little pincushion– a sweet little gift from Heather. Thank you!

Want to start your own kit?  Print your hexagons…..add some fabric, and supplies and off you go!
