Think Big Quilt Book Pillow Challenge

Today I am so excited to join a bunch of other quilters in helping Amy get the news out about her book– Think Big Quilts.

She gave us a challenge to use the books patterns or for inspiration and make ourselves a pillow.
How can we do this? Because the book is all about BIG quilt blocks. They come in the size of ……. the perfect size for a pillow don’t you think?!  Besides the options of pillows, there are table runners too.  Brilliant!

I chose the very last block of the book. Loved the layout and the simplicity of the block.  It was hard to pick though as all of the blocks were fantastic.  This book has some great options with it!

The layout is super simple and I sewed it all up, including the back of the pillow in one afternoon.  I chose some fabric from BLEND.  Love it!  Such a Spring vibe to it.  I am ready for that to happen!

I used fusible fleece after I pieced the top and before I did the quilting.  I love it because it stays in place while quilting and it gives the quilting a bit of dimension. #Thinkbigbook #PillowCollective
