Row by Row Experience Quilt Along

So– sometimes I’m a little late to the party.  This started without me even knowing it!  How did that happen?!

Well- just so no one else goes un-knowing,  I thought I’d pass the info along.

Introducing the Row by Row Experience.  I’ve always been a big fan of quilt alongs and host the online yearly Round Robin {sometimes it’s rows, sometimes it’s blocks}.  I love how everyone participates, and individually designs their own quilt with their own fabric and even layout sometimes.

Row by Row began in 2011 with 20 quilt shops across New York State. In 2012 the event grew to include 62 participating shops. Pennsylvania came on board in 2013 for a total of 138 shops throughout the two states. In 2014 the event is moving across the country.

Over 1250 quilt shops are participating in 34 states and Ontario and planning fun for quilters everywhere.

Although the quilt shops are organized by state, quilters have no borders.

Travel, shop, collect patterns and add rows to your quilt from any area.

Kristi and Jenny shared their progress so far in the facebook community:

So, the question is— are you sewing along?  Have you been collecting the patterns?  Which one is your favorite so far?

If you’d like– share it on the facebook community post here….we’d all love to see your progress!

You have until September 2nd to pick up your patterns!  Get going!

I live in Ohio and I have visited 9 shops. I’m collecting the patterns and the license plates. My quilt will be scarlet and gray.

I live in Northern Virginia. I have been to 80% of the Virginia shops, 90% of Maryland. My DH and I are traveling to North Carolina next week for a vacation and I get to shop hop all along the way!!! This has been so much fun! I would LOVE to know where the row with the submarine is from!
