Nellie Doll Pattern

She is made using a bunch of leftover scraps, ric rac, lace edgings, you name it! I am sure there is enough in your stash that she will be done in no time…..if your sewing cottage resembles mine at all.

The templates are full size, no adjustments needed and because you are using your stash and little notion bits, she will be one of a kind! The fabric I used came from Carol's line Rococo Gardens. Love it!

Nellie is 17" tall– kind of skinny and lanky, but not any less loveable! She is a little bit shy and blushes often {the big pink cheeks}

I have decided that I love using fleece for doll hair- so much softer and wears better than felt!  Did you see her hair all put up in buns? Along with her scrappy outfit she has gathered cap sleeves and mary jane shoes.

There is no leg seam, it is hidden down one side- so Nellie is a great doll pattern to make for others– or to sell her premade!

You will find her pattern in the Patchwork Posse shop and guess what?! It's immediate download!!  Thanks to Etsy for adding this fantastic feature to our shops!  I will be updating the rest of the patterns this week so they are all download immedietaly.  YAY for you!! {and me}  You get to print and sew right then. I love that option!

    She reminds me of my sisters dressy Bessie doll when we were young- in the 70s
