Meet Sara from Made by Sara

This is Sara.  She is one of our super awesome and talented contributors!  She is going to be sharing apparel projects.  I find that I keep with simple and sweet.  I can do basic adjustments, skirts, a few dresses…but nothing to major.  I am so excited to share her projects with you and can’t wait to get started learning a new thing or two about sewing clothes.

Hi, I am Sara! I love to sew, I am happily married to the most wonderful human being and I am mom to three crazy kids. 🙂
This blog is my journal where I share my passion about sewing, crafts, DIY, home decor and parenting. My goal is to inspire you to sew, to do-it-yourself and to create more. I know you can do it!
Sewing has always been my passion! My grandmother taught me to sew and embroidery when I was a child. I made my first piece of garment – a blouse – when I was 12.
In my teenage years I stopped sewing and I only picked it up 15 years later when I had my kids, during my maternity leave. That was when I found this amazing online community of sewing and craft blogs!
In 2012, after having my third child, I went from being a corporate woman on a multinational company to being a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom.

My passion for sewing rekindled and I decided to learn to sew again so I started to have private sewing lessons from a dressmaker with working experience of about 30 years both on couture and industrial techniques, and I also had a few lessons on a highly rated fashion school.
What has Sara been up to lately?
She also has a great variety of fun tutorials and helpful techniques-
