The Garden of Quilted Possibilities is loaded with lots of great techniques andinstruction.  I love the idea of saving my place in the video, moving forward or reviewing a concept.  Very user friendly and adaptable to my learning style.  Let me tell you a little bit about the class–

This class starts off with Edyta’s inspiration for her quilts…including where she got her fabric from {a friend swap} and why there is a scissor appliqued in the corner of one quilt.  It’s great to get her take on inspiration and what she enjoys about quilting.

I love her rule of 5.  Big Print, Medium Print, Small Print, Polka Dot, and Stripe.  I have never thought of this when choosing fabrics.  I am sooo planning on using this in the future!  What a great idea.

Edyta dives right in with simple projects that cover different techniques.

What You’ll Learn~

The projects include:  letter and words table runner– piecing letters, flower patch wall hanging– different kind of stitches for applique, and a dresden plate quilt block- learn templates, arches, sashing and finishing.  It does get a big tricky with the last project, but with the videos and area for you to ask questions- it’s a great place to start something new!

Did I mention they have added a few new things?  There is a sidebar with a quick rundown of the chapters or sections of the class.  So handy!  Plus, on the top menu bar they have added a link to all discussions.  Now you can see questions and answers for the class all together.

One of my favorite parts of the Craftsy classes is the ongoing discussion on the right side of the screen.  I love knowing there are others in the class around the world and I can ask questions or see what projects they have made using the class.
