Finished Elf Pillow and hair-dos

Finished Elf Pillow and hair-dos

The Elf Pillow is finished!! They have ended up on my bed. Even the picky honey says he likes them. PHew!
I was hoping to get a little bit of a bigger boarder with the brown flower fabric around it, but i ran out of room…bad planning 🙁 But it turned out pretty cute. Get your own pattern here.

Here they are residing on the bed.

I know the flowers above are still off center. It’s on the to-do list.

I have a few new Tweedly Bears in the shop. They both have pockets in their bellies. The one with the green wool sweater pocket even has a little smap to tote along!!

We had a few Christmas parties this weekend. The kids got a few presents and great food. Not a lot of pics, but had to show off the boys hair do. he did it himself!!

As much as a mom wants to say…I’m not sure that is an appropriate hair do—I kept quiet and let him have a little moment of accomplishment and I guess “cool dudeness” too.
+I did finish his big bed quilt and it is in the washer being shrunk and stuff….show it off later…+

Love the pillow, Becky. But I have to say, MY favorite picture is your little boy! What an adorable child!! His hair is perfectly fine! Don’t ever let anyone else convince you that a particular hair style is more conservative or rebellious than another. It’s what’s in his heart that matters! Trust me: my babies are 25, 27, & 28 and one granddaughter who’s 6. They are all VERY different from each other, [on the outside] despite being raised in the same household, but deep down, they have hearts of gold.
