Sharing the Knowledge

I have been through a lot I tell you! First, I was with Blogger, now I am with WordPress.

I tried out a few 'themes', plug-ins and whatever else that I have found. You name it, I have probably tried it.

Because of this I of course would love to share that wonderful info with you! Nobody wants to search everywhere when you can have a lovely list of all the good ones ready for you to use. So take them or leave them…but I'm telling you— I love them!!!

These are a few of my favorite things:

WordPress theme: Atahualpa Don't knock the preview. You MUST load it up and then see what it has on the dashboard before you judge! If you want a totally designable layout…this is for you. Add columns, change the width, move the page bars….widen the width, change the header, make it change with a page refresh..the list goes on for infinity with this wonderful theme.

PLUG-INS:

Link Within …. gives those 4 nice photos + post links at the bottom of each blog post.
Print Friendly…. lets the pages become printable- perfect for tutorial posts.
Thank me Later…. send a little email to the commenters to thank them. Set the time to 2 days after they comment. Then it isn't robotic.

Alexa Rank….again…snoopy
Discus….. wonderful for comments! Go get it now!
Comment Love….ads their last post to their comment.
Twitter Updater….gives twitter a tweet when i post on the blog, or a comment is made.
Simple Image….makes inserting images on the sidebars quick and easy.
Simple Twitter Box….put all your tweets on the sidebar.
Wp-Polls…need to do a poll? This is a great one!
