Swirly Flower and Feather Quilting on Jelly Roll Quilt
i have been working on catching up on some quilting— this one is from Janis… the first of 2
The pattern is a jelly roll quilt pattern {not sure the designer, but it is pretty popular}. The colors are wonderful for fall and cooler days. Sure wish we could have that!
I quilted with variagated thread {i love that stuff!} and stitched some feathers in the borders with an occasional flower in there
The backside shows it off quite nicely…
The diamond shape got their own pattern. One row had swirly flower feathers, the other row had just swirly feathers.
The next quilt has big squares in between pieced squares….. a bit more tricky….have to think about the quilting a little longer.
