1st time Quilting for a Quilt Store

So– here is the reveal of the 1st quilt i have ever quilted for a quilt store.  To say that i was a tad nervous is an understatement.

I really wasn't sure what to do with the quilting— i auditioned quite a few ideas {i'll show that off tomorrow}

I ended up with a feather in a circle sort of + some swirls:

I actually like how it turned out.  After a bit i got the hang of it— and overall. it was pretty darn good.

I am delivering it today and it will be hanging up in the shop during shop-hop this week. Everyone will be staring at it….hopefully not too close.

My mom was the piecer.  Her part is perfect {of course}  in fact she is the one who roped me into quilting it.
