Round Robin Row 7 with Jean

This week Row 7 has been designed by Jean

Jean Boyd

Jean has been designing and publishing patterns since 1997 and has also designed patterns for new fabric collections by Northcott Fabrics and several magazines.

Jean holds a Fibre Arts Certificate in quilting and has taught extensively throughout Canada, including six national Quilt Canada conferences. She was named "Canadian Teacher of the Year" in 2003 by the Canadian Quilters Association and has won numerous awards for her quilts.

I'm adding a few thing here:  she is a great designer!  Her patterns are always fun and simple {not saying that in a bad way– just that they aren't complicated} Take a look at her stuff at the end of the post– you'll see what i'm talking about.

Her row design is totally fun!  I love the Baltimore album style center with the 4 different butterflies {bet you didn't notice they were all different did you?}

Her pattern is in full color along with some wonderful diagrams to help you get all that piecing done right- and of course strip piecing for the checkerboard sashing.  love that!

Hop on over and say hi to Jean
