I have finished up the newest pattern– Sprockets Quilt
A bit of the quilting~The outer border got a double loop–one big, one small and the whole center was pointy meandered. I have never done this type of quilting before and it was kind of fun doing the different shapes and pointy things. The back is pieced with black flannel +a tiny blue check. Using up big stash pieces!
The quilt uses 1 jelly roll {you will have a few strips leftover} + a background and 1 border fabric. The blocks might seem a bit tricky, but really they aren't! yay! Perfect pattern for beginners.
The quilt will be in the next issue of The Sewing Cottage Magazine— along with some other boyish goodies. How about the robot pattern, rocket, astronaut and alien quick stitch, + a play mat.
