Welcome to the open house!!! This week 5 NEW WORKSHOPS are open for registration + there is a surprise!! {how about a free one}
This is going to be super fun girls! We have 5 new designers hooked up for the workshops and let me tell you there is a great variety of patterns, techniques and everything else!
Just a reminder— All Workshops and patterns are accessible even after the workshop is over! Come back and visit, upload photos or re-print those patterns anytime! During the workshop you will recieve an email reminder letting you know about the new patterns/steps posted.
There is a special right now— if you sign up before the end of the year for 1 of the workshops you will be automatically added to the Christmas Spirit Workshop!!! That's right—- you get a free one!

Share Your Heart Workshop by Pat Sloan. She has designed a wall hanging sized quilt 20" X 30". This wall hanging features folk-art style applique done by hand or machine. The border will eat up your scraps. The quilt is broken down to 'weekly' steps. In addition to the wall hanging Pat has included a small {5" X 5"} needle book, again featuring some wool applique.
The Share Your Heart workshop runs Jan. 6th- 31st
Heather from The Sewing Loft has designed the perfect Princess Dreams Workshop. This workshop includes 4 patterns —- Banner, Chair Cover, Crown and game! The patterns will be released one per week. This is the perfect collection for any princess out there! Sew some magic and dreams for your little princess. This workshop will show you how to work with felt, sew applique and make twisted flowers.
The Princess Dreams Workshop runs Jan. 10th- 31st
Felicity from Felicity Quilts has designed the perfect start to your Modern Quilt collection. Easy Going Modern is a 58" X 76" lap quilt. Combine 3 bold colors with simple and quick construction for your own personalized modern quilt. In addition to the lap quilt, Felicity will be sharing a small adjustment to make a matching pillow! This pattern works up great with yardage or a layer cake precut.
The Easy Going Modern Workshop runs Feb. 2-15th
Kim from Kim's Crafty Apple is sharing her popular kite pattern! Learn simple piecing, a little bit of quilting, applique and braiding for the rope tail! Personalize your wall kite with initials, names or a simple ABC.
Let's Go Fly a Kite workshop runs from Feb. 15th – Martch 7th
Lilac Love Workshop by Val Laird has just what you need for your stitching set. This embroidered set includes a needle book { 5 1/2"}, scissorkeep {3 }, and pincushion {5"}. Val will be sharing with you her techniques for working with felt, inset applique, twisted cord and tassel making, and of course her patterns signature— embroidery.
Lilac Love Workshop runs March 6-20th
Christmas Spirit Workshop is all about spreading Christmas projects throughout the year…..no getting caught by procrastination next Christmas! Every month there will be a new pattern….what's on the list? How about a quilt, banner, loot bag, table runner, wall hanging, mug rug, ornament, tree skirt, primative ornies, apron + Who knows! By the end of the year you will be loaded with what you need to decorate, share, load or use. {thanks to those who suggested this workshop}

and, just because I am throwing all of this out there— Round Robin #4 is starting in January and I need you {don't look away— I am talking to you} to design something for it!
Rules are easy— We are doing another ROW QUILT and the theme is 'Summer Picnic'
Your row should be 56" wide X whatever size you want!!! That means you can do a skinnier row with applique, or small pieced blocks or tall skinny big blocks. Please try to keep you row now taller than 8".
Keep your row pattern to the theme— need some ideas? How about fruit appliques, baskets, stars, ants, birds, picnic-y fun stuff….. so really whatever! This is your time to shine and share your wonderful talent with the rest of us!
For those of you who aren't going to be designing you are invited to join the fun! Sew along with us— and join the group so you can post photos in the gallery to enter for giveaways! weeeee
