Marilyn {hi} has a wonderful collection of vintage quilts that have been cut up and made into something new and of course wonderful. Today she is showing off this collection—
She has done a trunk show before — her pincushion collection.
I snagged her little info from there:
I am an energetic woman who lives in a quiet neighborhood in a small city. I walk at 5 am about 4 miles almost every day. This is the time I listen to books and work on organizing solutions.
I am a lot of things in no particular order. A woman, mother, sister, aunt, organizer, public speaker, wife, author, writer, teacher, reader, thinker, volunteer, talker, friend, T.V. and radio guest, quilter, rug hooker, and grandmother.
I love cutter quilts– they have wonderful fabrics, great personality and a few spots thrown in for good measure. I love the idea of taking something that has literaly been loved 'to threads' and making something new and loveable with it.

She doesn't share much of her sewing talents over on her blog, but has some great ideas and helpful organizing hints!! By the way- her book is great too!
Thanks Marilyn for sharing your talent with the rest of us— off we go to start our own collections!
