I invited myself to play along with Where Bloggers Create. She is a follower of Where Woman Create and last year did a little one day thingie– Where Bloggers Create. They {WWC} loved it and are now sponsoring it too. She was just in the last magazine that came out this month…and has a beautiful little area and home with some wonderful words that she shared with the magazine. {you should totally buy it.}
Anywhosies– she has had an invite out for players…and I just can't resist, when it comes to playing along and of course shouting about myself and my great stuff i do!! hee hee
So here I am— time to share…
So let me tell you where I create— in the hallway upstairs. That's right. The hallway:
My computer is the oldest and slowest I think out there {can't share the honeys— why are they always like that?} I do have my little paper board above my head that has cute drawings from the kids on it. The desk gets cluttered easily, but you know– I'm a piler. So that is only but expected. And just when you think things couldn't get worse– let me tell you. It is directly across from the bathroom door. So there.
This my friendly girls is where I create also–
This is where you are all supposed to go —–oooooo. I know. It's like the hallway thing. But this is what I get for being in the extra attic space. It is cramped in there with a 10 foot quilting table, but I don't complain. Plus, overly tall people can't be in there because they hit the ceiling with their head. Lucky for me, I don't have that problem.
Here is a closeup of the table —which it looks as though a child has overtaken it with a little 'house' for their dudes.
I do have a weee bit of wall area to hang a few things. but not much.
I have been creating on my blog for a bit now. March 2008 was the start date. Was it really that long ago? I have loved every minute of it. I am often blabbing by myself, but that is ok. I must get enough of it out, because I don't talk to myself when I am by myself.
I do love it when others comment though…so don't think I always want a one way conversation.
I have been sewing up a storm since like, forever and I sell a bunch in the shop {it is random patterns isn't it?} I have something cooking up my sleeve for this summer –hoping to get it out soon— something like an online sewing course for children— oh yea. ok .enough. you'll just have to wait for it!!!
I think my favorite part of sharing online is the friendships from people around the world. My dad was Airforce and we were stationed in Spain, Utah, Virginia…ect. I missed not having others outside of my little world being in my life. This is where I have found them…and lucky for me they are all interested in sewing, crafting and creating just like me!!!
I love to brouse everyones world and join in too. Everyone has such wonderful talent out there and I am sooo glad we have all found out little voice {or big ones, hee hee} and share it!
Even though my crafts are totally spiratic and you are constantly thinking— what?— I am going to keep on sharing, torturing or whatever you might call it, with you.
quick note on the latest goods:
In January I started Patchwork Posse– an online sewing group that has over 35 members now and is growing! I have teamed up with some awesome talented designers and each month they share a pattern just for us members! I love it. I learn a lot and have enjoyed the new sewing friends I have made. that is for sure. This group will definitly be continuing…….
My latest though — Peanut. I'd love it if you would play along!!
Thanks everyone for stopping by and letting me share myself with you for just a bit. Off I go to check out that monster list on her sidebar and find some new friends. OH, if you find any good ones let me know.

When you are a creative type, you find whatever space you can to make your own and I love yours!!! My older sister is a quilter . . I'm still waiting for the quilt she was making as our wedding gift . . . . maybe on our 10th anniversary, LOL
So you lived in Spain?! Me TOO!! And Portugal!
Have a wonderful day!

Your space absolutely proves that studio size isn't an issue. We can be creative in whatever area we can find. Personally I would love an attic space because then it would be all MINE! Thanks so much for sharing.
true–size isn't an issue..but it doesn't help too much with the storage thing. All mine is right! weeee

I love the space you've carved out for yourself. We have to get it where we can, right? And your the second person I've seen who uses the hallway. Your attic is tight, but still a nice space. My attic is unfinished and full of insulation but I dream of finishing that space and wringing a few more square feet out of my house!
Your sewing looks great. thank you for sharing!
I was just thinking about my attic space— and do you know what? It isn't the
first time I have ended up with this space! I totally forgot. In my first home
{i have moved quite a few times and they are numbered} I was upstairs— I had
to climb a ladder in the hall closet to get there!! haha. Thanks for the
reminder. I guess I am attracted to the cozyness.
