In the state of insanity that I live in….in other words crazy in the brain….I have decided to start another blog. I know, I know…you girls are right. But I really thought about it A LOT and I figure hey, what I love to do is share in a random fashion. You never know what it coming at you next!
Let me do a quick explain though……I blog. I sew. I craft. I design. I sell my great stuff. I do a lot online. I have been here for around 3 years…and I figure I have been around the blog {block}.
I started out in Blogspot. I turned to Joomla {got a little overwhelmed there} and I have landed in the land of WordPress.com. Love it here by the way. I have tried and tweeked and erased, written, plugined, widgeted….. you name it- I have attempted it.
There are a lot of help your blog sites out there aren't there? BUT, there are only a handfull of 'crafty websites' that are actually there to teach you about blogging and all those code thingies. Plus, in the area of a crafty help for your website there isn't much. It is all about blue collar business stuff—- and I need crafty blog help!!! don't you?
I have decided to start this on the basis of craft website help. How do you get your blog noticed? How do you promote your craft blog? How do you get a background? How about some cool widgets?
I am working on a step by step on getting your crafty blog noticed. {just a quick shout out— I have pushed over the 8000 readers per month mark–weeeeeee}. I'll let you all know of course when that comes out.
Until then, you may pop on over to the blog and read and use what you want. BUT WAIT!!!! HOLD ON THERE LITTLE MISSIE—

- Add your name to the list
- Add your craft website or blog link
- Click on the person above you and visit their blog
- If they have a button add it to your sidebar {it's all about cross-promotion}
- If there is no button add it to your reading or blogroll list on the sidebar
- Send them a quick email telling them you have added them to your site {send a link too}
- To further promote each other send over an interview to fill out.
- Post the interview on your blog with links and photos included.
- Leave up the bottom for 1 month on your blog sidebar
- Come back next month for a new partner

What do you think? Fun huh? There are a few names up there, but this is your chance to grab and promote!! + who hates asking for interviews and such? I am not a big fan of it…..it is pretty intimidating to ask sometimes…but on this list you can! You have broken the ice on conversation and can go for it! Ask for that interview, comment on their blog and let them know you are promoting them, Do a guest post on them {interview or not included}. Isn't this a great way to get things going? I think so!
