Over the weekend we headed down south for a little family do-da in Santaquin. We seriously were in the middle of beautiful nowhere!
Not much to see, but let me tell you the air was clean, fresh {except for that occasional whiff of cow} and the birds were especially songful. It really was a delightful day.
out the front
and out the back -of the car.
of course I have to add a picture of the local Library. Gosh, I love libraries.
ok. well, I did get to finish stitching that little goodie—
here she is in her new frame –garage sale goodies last week $1- yes:
The honey says the frame reminds him of licorice {he is a big fan of it}
fine, he's right. I am thinking some dark stain or maybe some black paint to tone it down is what it needs.
What do you think? Too much licorice?
I love the words….I think that is what made me do it.
Lately I have been content. I kind of have been taking a moment and look around at everything.
I have been more aware of my Thankfullness. Not sure why.
I was driving home the other day and the kids were in the front yard playing soccer together…..and I thought to myself,
They are such good kids. Gosh I'm lucky.
It's just been a pleasant feeling. I am glad I noticed it and what it has brought to my attention.
Want to stitch one for yourself? Purchase it here— Handmade Cathy. The stitchery was featured on Feeling Stitchy and I knew I needed it for myself–then I found the frame. Match made perfectly!
oh, and I stitched it on a vintage pillowcase cut. I think it turned out pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself!
