There are a few things in life that are really irritating to me- one biggie- brushing teeth. Please don't talk to me. ok? Just stay in the bathroom and shut the door…and don't even think about gargeling and swishing! ugh.
I apparently get the same shivers and irritation at squaring patchwork quilt blocks. It is sooooo tedious and repeticious! I really am not interested in making those little blocks perfect. I know, I know…it makes the world a better place. I know that everything will be pieced together sooooo much nicer. But to tell you the truth I hate it!! It is the worst thing on the quilt block to do!!!
Especially if there are 80 little blocks that all need the treatment.
The project I am working on that needs all this trimming…what is it you ask? well, it is a MYSTERY!!!

Oh no…I was looking forward to the mystery! I really do not like squaring up blocks either. Like you, it is just too tedious for me. I always want to get right to putting the top together. But, squaring up blocks is a very important job that should not be skipped. Ask me, I know lol.

i have totally not squared up before and it didn't ever get finished. talk about a mess!
