Focus Friday-- Scarf Review

I decided that a girl can't have too many scarfs…..they are like shoes, and fabric for us girls, aren't they?  You definitly need enough to go with your mood, outfit, or really any reason you want….need I explain myself & my choices?

This scarf really is quite easy and a great pattern for beginners. Perfect Patchwork Craft for your scraps too. It is constructed just like the Scrappy Needle Keeper Tutorial I did a bit back.

I made some size adjustments because of the pieces of wool suiting that I have are the examples that the dealers take to the buyers. {someone in one of the quilt group brings them to me. Thanks Joy!}  So the pattern started with 8" wide strips I started with 7" It is plenty wide though.

I put pink flannel on the back, and I love that! I did sneak in a few pieces of a cute pink with grey flowers in.  It couldn't be just all greys, blacks, and blue wool suitings could it now? I'm a girl for heavens sake!

I added a little pink embroidered flower patch at the bottom.

What do you think?  Anyone made this one before?
