Patchwork Posse is officially having their first ‘meeting’ today!! It will be posted. If you are a paid and registered member you will have access to the back pages after you log in. Our meeting is on organizing our creative space and making it ready to creat wonderful stuff in!!! I am so excited about this one.
I need it desperatly I tell you. We learned a little bit about Marilyn and her business and then she gave us some great ideas on how to organize and keep it that way. Plus, there was an easy pattern shared to make us one of these:
There is a great tutorial and I used oil cloth! worked out perfect!
These little babies are so useful!! I am not sure if you could have too many of them.
We also got the list of fabric we need to collect for the
Charm-A-Long Block of the month Quilt
Tomorrow I will be posting the first review of the focus– One Yard Wonders! I made the crafty apron. Good stuff. I also have a guest post reviewer! fun! love it when others want to play along!
So don’t forget!!!
If you want to enter yourself {because you didn’t win, or maybe you need another to share with someone else} then leave a comment here! Tell, me what your favorite project you have sewn lately. It is so interesting to find out what others are up to isn’t it? When i go and buy some fabric, they always ask– what are you making? So pretend I am the store clerk and you let me know what you are making. {plus, i just love to steal others great ideas–don’t you} {using my own patterns and whatever, not really stealing them}ok
Congrats girls!!! I will be emailing you shortly or let me know if you already did it and who your username is so I can spot you.
thanks for playing along!!! It was fun- wasn’t it?

Okay, I couldn’t wait any longer and just joined. Looking forward to getting my password and getting started! My favorite project(s) lately were the Christmas lap quilts that I made for the great nieces and nephews in December. They were fun and made great unexpected surprises.
Not sure if I’m No 9 winner as it’s listed as Lynn Smith. Would love it to be me, but don’t want to take from somebody else
can I still try for the membership? My project is a clutch made from an textured fabric I found in my local market and Michael Miller’s Pod Vine. I just started sewing recently. This is the first bag for my mum

I want to think outside the/my box this year. Be less intimidated by projects and techniques, be freer in my colour choices, be bolder in all ays. This is going to be scary, but FUN!!
Rosemary Dempster´s last blog ..A Happy New Year!!
I think my most favorite would have to be the blankets that I did for my twin girls. They weren’t anything spectacular by any means but you can’t tell by the look on their faces.
My favourite sewing project I’ve made recently is my first ever quilt, which is a flannel rag quilt I made for my daughter. I let her help with choosing the colours and placement, and she loves it!
I would love to be a member
My current favorite project is an applique tasble runner (aka small quilt LOL) for my son’s MIL
Cheers
